The Department of Electronics which admitted first batch of students in 1984, is now offering M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D programs in various fields of Electronics. The research activities in the Department includes lasers and quantum electronics, microelectronics, computer vision, polymers, communications and filters. With  limited resources and in such short period of time the Department has acquired a reputation as a learning at the M.Sc and doctoral level in the important field of Electronics.
